Mathematics 2155F is an introduction to the fundamental concepts necessary for the study of mathematics. The course focusses initially
on the notion of proof and elementary reasoning, then proceeds to the discussion of the fundamental mathematical concepts. The course
is an interesting blend of abstract mathematical ideals and concrete computation (although perhaps the computations will not be those

There is a new edition of the text (the 6th edition) that will be in the bookstore by September 10. There is also a solution manual
that should be in the book store by September 14 (if not before). The solution manual contains the solutions to every
recommended exercise, and as well, contains the midterm and final exams, with solutions, for 2012, 2013, and 2014.
